Inconel 625

Inconel 625 (UNS N06625)

Inconel 625, also known as Alloy 625, is a nickel alloy that is known for its impeccable strength and resistance against aqueous corrosion. Alloy 625 is a nonmagnetic corrosion and oxidation resistant alloy that is used both for its high strength and outstanding aqueous corrosion resistance. Its outstanding strength and toughness in the temperature range cryogenic to 2000°F (1093°C) are derived primarily from the solid solution effects of the refractory metals, columbium and molybdenum, in a nickel-chromium matrix. The alloy has excellent fatigue strength and stress-corrosion cracking resistance to chloride ions. The weldability found in this nickel alloy is also outstanding, it can be welded by both manual and automatic welding methods and it is used to weld AL-6XN. This alloy resists a wide range of severely corrosive environments and is especially resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion. Some typical applications Inconel 625 is used in are chemical processing, aerospace and marine engineering, pollution-control equipment, and nuclear reactors heat shields, furnace hardware, gas turbine engine ducting, combustion liners and spray bars, chemical plant hardware, and special seawater applications. Inconel 625 is approved for construction of pressure vessels and components under ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel. Nano-Mag Technologies offer various products made from Inconel 625 material including Autoclave, Reactor, Hydrogenator, Magnetic Drives, Catalyst Filters etc. as per the requirement.
