Inconel 600

Inconel 600 (UNS N06600)

Inconel 600, also known as alloy 600, is a non-magnetic nickel-chromium high temperature alloy possessing an excellent combination of high strength, hot and cold workability, and resistance to ordinary form of corrosion. This nickel alloy was designed for service temperatures from cryogenic to elevated temperatures in the range of 2000° F. It has excellent mechanical properties, and presents the desirable combination of high strength and good weldability under a wide range of temperatures. This alloy also displays good heat resistance and freedom from aging or stress corrosion throughout the annealed to heavily cold worked condition range. The high nickel content in Inconel 600 enables it to retain considerable resistance under reducing conditions, makes it resistant to corrosion by a number of organic and inorganic compounds, gives it excellent resistance to chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking and also provides excellent resistance to alkaline solutions. It used for applications that require corrosion and high temperature resistance. Typical applications of this nickel alloy include the chemical, pulp and paper, aerospace, nuclear engineering and heat treating industries. Inconel 600 is approved for construction of pressure vessels and components under ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel. Nano-Mag Technologies offer various products made from Inconel 600 material including Autoclave, Reactor, Hydrogenators, Magnetic Drives, Catalyst Filters etc. as per the requirement.
